Message	And, it's been a while since I have looked at my oil pan, but is that weld supposed to be there? Looks like the rod broke through right at the weld. Might that be an indication that that pan has been involved in a similiar problem before? I'm not sure, just speculating. Good luck with it, and make sure you pursue this correctly and get your money back.
